Measures to regulate textile export

Temporary Measures of Automatic Permission for Textile Export was
formally implemented on March 2, requiring that over 200 textile
commodity serial numbers to apply for export permission licenses. An
official from the Foreign Trade Department of the Ministry of Commerce
claimed that China formulated automatic permissions for textile export
after the globalization of its textile trade, and that it aims to improve
statistical analysis and monitoring of textile exports by releasing
alerts and information to exporters on time. The ministry of commerce
hopes to avoid declines in textile export prices caused by export volume
