In order to mark the 70th anniversary of the Long March triumph,
Changsha's Window of the World began its 2005 Spring Red Army Tour,
"Small Feet, New Long March," on March 24th. 100,000 kids left their
footprints on the 2,500-meter-long ring trail in the park, and then the
marks were connected in a series with colorized powder, honoring the
12,500-kilometer long march. The activity helped teenagers understand
their predecessors' revolutionary experiences and feelings during those
years.
