Girl calls for setting up Int'l Single Parent Day

Zhang Yingmei, a 24-year-old student from Henan Province, recently called
for designing November 1 as International Single Parent Day, and appealed
to people to take care of children raised by single parents. Zhang
herself was from a single-parent family. The photos taken on April 26
show Zhang was promoting her ideas in the streets of Zhengzhou, Henan
Province, to gain more support from the common people.
