Next month, residents in Hong Kong will have a chance to view 47 renowned
paintings by 13 famous French impressionist masters. Wong Sean-yee,
Director of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, pointed out in
a press conference on Jan 20 the fact that Hong Kong was able to borrow
these impressionist treasures of the world from renowned museums such as
the Paris Musee d' Orsay reconfirmed the professional prestige Hong
Kong's museums enjoyed internationally. He said the exhibit would add
extra glamor to Hong Kong.
