Soaring dragons in Nanjing Confucius Temple

www.chinanews.cn 2005-01-17 16:22:14

On January 16, tourists were warmly welcomed by two newly-completed huge
dragons that proudly appeared on the large screen wall at the Panchi
(school pond) in the Nanjing Confucius Temple. As the Year of the Rooster
approached, the Qinhuai District of Nanjing City commenced elaborate
decorating work for tourist spots such as Lingxing Gate, Dacheng Hall,
Panchi and Wende Bridge. When the annual lantern festival arrives, the
Confucius Temple would be transformed into a place filled with flowers
and lights.
