100,000 people flocked to the Dragon Pond Temple Fair

On Feb 12, 2005, 100,000 people in Beijing attended the 22nd Dragon Pond
Temple Fair to celebrate Chinese New Year. Annual tourist volume for the
Beijing's Dragon Pond Temple Fair have been over one million every year,
making it a well-known tourism hotspot both at home and abroad during the
Chinese New Year holidays. Although the place lacks cultural relics,
organizers of the Dragon Pond Temple Fair have been creative in building
around Chinese folk customs.
