Premier Wen in New Zealand for official visit

Wellington -- Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao arrived here Wednesday by
special plane for an official visit to New Zealand.

This is the first visit by a Chinese premier to New Zealand over the past
18 years.
During his stay, Premier Wen will hold talks with Prime Minister of New
Zealand Helen Clark and exchange views on bilateral relationship and
issues of common concern.

The two countries are expected to sign a number of agreements on
bilateral cooperation.
