I have tried the link & dod not manage to sign up. It always states that the server is busy?

Is there any other way to get sign up?

Thanks.

You can do it via text message. If you're not in China, sign up online during off-peak hours of
11pm to 9am Beijing Time.

I used the url suggested here, received a registration number and downloaded the English version of
QQ (2005, Vista compatible). However, when I launch the QQ program and get the sign-in screen (see
attachment), after I input my QQ number and password (selected as part of the program download
process), I cannot actually sign in to QQ. Also, the sign in screen cannot be expanded, in case
there are other buttons which I cannot see in the reduced view. Any suggestions are welcomed.

I used the above site to register a QQ address, but rather than using the official client which is
reportedly malware at best, I connect (with al my IM's) through Pidgin.
